MYERS’ EAR-PHONES.
Myers’ Har-Phones are new patented electric instruments for aiding deafness of any degree. They are small, light and incon-
spicuous; there is nothing to insert in the ear (a dangerous practice) or hold in the hand, in great contrast to the clumsy and conspicuous
horns, tubes and the like. Nor does the speaker have to hold or talk into the instrument.
The No. 1 type of Ear-Phone (illustrated above as in use) is the most convenient form, as each of the three parts are separate.
‘allowing the battery to be concealed anywhere in the clothing or ina chatelaine bag, and the transmitter to be concealed under the
waist or coat, if desired.
The construction cf the “Sonor” is based on new and scientific principles. The concentration of sound waves has been so minutely
ealculated that the hearing is clear, agreeable and easy, The “Sonor” transfers the vibration directly to the hearing organs.
When deafness is due to old age the “Sonor” acts with great efficiency. For conversation, or use at the theater, concert, etc., it
fully meets the wish so often expressed by the deaf, “to hear and distinguish all the voices, all the sounds, all the noises.”
