The S. F. Myers Co. Special Make of Standard Silver Plated Ware.
These goods are made of the highest grade nickel-silver base metal, which is almost as white as silver itself, and every piece is
shaped by machinery, thus insuring exact uniformity.
By using sprit tempered shanks the weight of the metal is evenly distributed, giving the article strength where required without
a heavy and clumsy appearance. These goods are plated with puresilver on above metal, and we guarantee them to contain 25 per cent
more silver t } the regular standard plate, and to strip as follows:
On our “XIV” plate—Tea spoons, 50 dwts. of pure silver to gruss, On our “XIV” plate—Dessert spoons, 75 dwts. of pure silver to gross.
On our “XI V"" plate—Table spoons, 100 dwts. of pure silver to gross.
On our “XIV” plate—dessert forks, 100 dwts. of pure silver to gross. On our “XIV” plate—Medium forks, 100 dwts.ofpu_ silver to gross.
And other pieces in proportion. re
By our method the silver is applied so that the parts most subject to wear receive the heaviest plating.
The “Winner” pattern is French 1y finish, and gilt blades; bowls and tines are rose goid instead of bright gold.
This brand is all BURNISHED, which hardens the silver, and makes the goods wear longer than when finished in the ordinary man-
ner. It is important to us to carry under this special brand, an article that we know will give perfect satisfaction to our customers
as well as ourselves. 3
